HepVoices.org (Hepatitis Voices) aims at being a preferred platform for News, Events, Innovations, Clinical trials, Research, and Stories about viral hepatitis from around the Globe. HepVoices is a project of Giving Hope Foundation, a charity registered in Uganda.   Presently, as an online platform, we do not generate any content, we only share and bring to one place what is available on the public domain about viral hepatitis from across the globe.

Our goal is to provide timely information about Viral Hepatitis.

We believe that easy and timely access to knowledge and information will reduce stigma, discrimination, and educate the public on viral hepatitis. HepVoices.org aims at being a go-to resource for information about Hepatitis including causes, prevention, treatment, and documenting stories of patients/ survivors of viral hepatitis.

Although under-resourced & primarily volunteer-based, we do our best to provide the community with access to quality, true unfiltered and the latest global news and information on viral hepatitis.

HepVoices is open to any journalists who want to contribute, publish high-quality articles, analyses to improve public access to impartial information about viral hepatitis. You and we have the right to know, learn, read, hear what and how we deem appropriate.

HepVoices adheres to the fundamental tenets of ethical journalism including honesty, fairness, independence, diversity, accountability and transparency.


Code of Ethics

HepVoices is not a member of the Media Council of Uganda (MCU– the voluntary self-regulatory body) or the National Union of Journalist of Uganda (NIJU), but we adhere to the fundamental tenets of ethical journalism promoted by both bodies, including but not limited to honesty, fairness, independence, diversity, accountability and transparency.

If you feel any of those guidelines are violated by HepVoices in any form, please feel free to report the issue to us.

Any advertising material or any material with commercial benefits are accordingly labeled or presented clearly distinguishable. We currently do not restrict access to any content that is related to viral hepatitis as our goal is to increase access to such information and to provide better public access to impartial original information about viral hepatitis.

We attempt to publish original information, and if or when the story is broken by another publication first, link or reference directly to the original publisher or source of information
